Our Story

A name that says what we make

Ohana is the Hawaiian word for family, and it includes more than the people under one roof: grandparents, cousins, in-laws and close friends all count. When we chose the name Ohana Gift, we wanted it to describe exactly what the shop is for: shirts that bring a whole group together in one bright print, and that work as a gift for the people you love.

Why matching shirts

Family gatherings are where most photos get taken and kept. A reunion, a luau in the backyard, a cruise, a destination wedding, a first trip to the islands with the grandkids. A shared print turns a crowd of relatives into one easy-to-spot group, in person and in the pictures that end up on the fridge for years. We focus on aloha shirts because they suit warm weather, relaxed events and every age, from toddlers to grandparents.

How we put the catalog together

We built the store around four ideas:

  • Family Matching Sets so parents, kids and grandparents can wear the same pattern.
  • Men’s Hawaiian Shirts for dads, grooms and groomsmen, from S up to 5XL.
  • Women’s Hawaiian Shirts for moms, brides and bridesmaids, from S to 3XL.
  • Personalized Aloha Shirts with a name, a date, a face or a pet, made as a one-of-a-kind gift.

How each shirt is made

We do not keep piles of stock. Each shirt is made to order: once you check out, our team in Vietnam prepares the print file and sends it to one of our partner print-on-demand apparel studios, where the design is printed on polyester fabric and the shirt is sewn and packed. Production takes 3–5 business days, and US delivery takes 7–10 business days with free shipping. Making to order lets us offer every size in every print without carrying unsold stock.

What we care about

We are a small team, and we would rather be clear than clever. That means honest previews, a size guide that is worth reading, and straightforward policies for when something goes wrong. If a shirt arrives misprinted or damaged, we fix it. If a size does not work, our return policy spells out what we can do.
