This policy describes what personal information Ohana Gift collects when you visit ohanagift.com or buy from us, why we collect it, who receives it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to make, ship and support your order.
Information we collect
Details you give us
- Order and contact details: your name, email address, billing and shipping address, and a phone number if you choose to provide one.
- Personalization content: names, dates, messages and photos you upload so we can print a custom shirt.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, such as size questions or photos of a delivery problem.
Payment details
Card and wallet payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay) are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection; we never see or store it. We receive only limited information such as the payment status and the last four digits of the card.
Collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the site that referred you.
- Cookies and similar technologies, described in the cookie section below.
How we use your information
- To process payments, produce your shirts and deliver them.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates and tracking links.
- To answer your questions and handle cancellations, returns and damage claims.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraudulent orders.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. Photos and text you upload for personalization are used only to make your order; we will not use them in advertising or on our website without your written permission.
Who receives your information
We share information only with service providers that need it to do their part of the job:
- Payment processor (Stripe): to take payment and screen for fraud.
- Production partners: the print-on-demand apparel studios that make your shirts receive your order details, personalization content and shipping address.
- Shipping carriers: your name, address and, where required for delivery, your phone number.
- Website hosting and email providers: to run the store and send order messages.
- Analytics and advertising services: if enabled, they receive device and usage data collected through cookies.
- Authorities: when the law requires it, or to protect our customers and the store against fraud.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:
- Essential cookies that keep items in your cart, remember your session and make checkout work. The store cannot function without them.
- Preference cookies that remember choices such as recently viewed products.
- Analytics and advertising cookies that help us measure visits and the performance of our ads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working.
How long we keep information
Order records are kept for as long as needed to provide support and to meet tax and accounting requirements. Personalization files are kept only as long as needed to produce your order and handle any reprint or damage claim. Marketing emails stop as soon as you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- opt out of marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link;
- object to or limit certain uses of your data.
To make a request, email support@ohanagift.com from the address used for your order. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. Some records, such as invoices, may have to be kept to satisfy legal requirements even after a deletion request.
Security
The entire site runs over HTTPS, so data sent between your browser and our store is encrypted. Access to order data is limited to the people and partners who need it to fulfill orders.
Children
We sell kids’ sizes, but the site is intended for adults placing orders. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

When we update this policy, the new version is posted on this page.
